Entrepreneurship is one of the best tools to combat inequities and advance the economic capabilities of Black communities. At BlackTECH, our focus is to encourage and support aspiring entrepreneurs and startups to successfully launch their products using technology to solve everyday problems. We achieve this through our well thought-out and proven Startup incubation program and pitch day events.

Startup Incubation: This is a three-month program to support aspiring entrepreneurs to develop and launch their tech businesses. We will work with the innovators to validate their idea, product, feasibility, and market fit. This program comes with a cash investment from BlackTECH, capacity building, mentoring, links to resources and contents, and support from our product development team.

Some of the criteria to be enrolled in this program include:

• The idea must leverage technology to solve a problem or fix market friction
• The idea must be adequately researched with a clear picture of the niche area
• The team must be ready to put in the work and show commitments
• The idea or product must have the potential to scale
• The team should have skills to build the solution or have access to technical skills
