At BlackTECH, we believe that the youths have enormous roles to play through innovation that leads to new products, processes, and services for economic sustainment, especially in post-covid-19 economic recovery.

Studies have shown that Black students are 1.5x more likely to drop out than their white counterparts. In today’s constantly changing world, the youths must be prepared with fundamentals of STEM teaching such as problem-solving, making sense of important information, and being able to gather and examine evidence to make great decisions.

Our goal here at BlackTECH is to nurture Black children and youths to become tech-savvy which is a catalytic ingredient to succeed in today’s workforce that is becoming predominantly digital. In this Program, we have created culturally responsive content that aligns with the curriculum and resonates with youths and their families.

BlackTECHStars promotes youth education in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics to awaken creative skills, critical thinking, literacy skills through coaching, mentorships, and guidance to our next generation of leaders. These programs are designed to equip the youths with real-world experiences and inspire them to embrace tech-related careers.
